Family History Discovered

This blog is to discuss the benefits and process to find your family history using information that you know and searching back in time to create a personal genealogy and history of the people in your family that came before you.

COST: After an initial free consultation, I will work for $10.00/hour for an introductory maximum of three hours. After that, if further research and documentation is requested the charge is $20/hour. Various display charts, diagrams, CD's, and life stories with pictures are possible. I specialize in weaving photos and text into an interesting format based on the information available. I can retouch old or damaged photos.

I have been doing genealogical research for over thirty years, including spending two years on the American roads tracking down my own family history... from New England to the far West. I've mucked about in farms in Wales, and farms in Wisconsin, feeling the satisfaction being on the same land that my ancestors knew. I've visited more cemeteries than I can count, and have haunted as many of the county court houses, libraries, genealogy societies and historical societies as I could fit in on my many trips.
